As a wild-grown crop, it is never easy to accurately predict the size of a crop – at least until collections are in and exports fulfilled, in order to see what volume must have been produced, retrospectively.
– In line with the firmer trend on Turkish currency and set against strong demand for apricots set at attractive and competitive pricing, apricots have continued to firm since our last report.
– As previously reported, the prospects for China to reduce its plantings later this year in order to squeeze supply, and to trigger price increases is highly likely.
